Here we have 4 superminis and today I'm going to be comparing them in a group test. There is a stats table at the bottom. Lets have a look at the competitors...

Firstly we have the Citreon C3, the supermini successor of the leftfield Cactus. It looks very fun with all the funky colours and airbumps (the plastic lumps on the doors). It's very cute and I rather like it. I wouldn't go for the base model so choose one of the nicer models
Meanwhile the interior is rather nice and the seats look like they've been dipped in chocolate. I think inside it is cute but not so much that it irritates you. Another standout feature is the Citreon Cam-Connect which is basically a built in dash cam that can take a photo or video should you crash or want to take a sceinic picture.

Next we have the Dacia Sandero. It hasn't been styled, it's just a box with wheels. Imagine this in the Dacia office: manager= ''bring me the design team'' worker= ''we don't have one sir''.
There is not much more to say about this car. It is super cheap though costing only £5,995 !! That's a lot of car for your money. Inside it is much the same with cheap plastics, ancient renault controls and a steering wheel made of the hardest plastic known to man. I know it costs £5,995 but maybe a little quality would be nice.

Our third contestant is the Mini Cooper show in its sporty S guise. This is probably the most known car on this list because of its English Heritage. On the outside it is very good looking and it may well be the best looking car here. Prices start a rather cheap £14,925 but you don't get that much standard kit so go for the pepper pack (led lights, ambient lighting, nice wheels etc.) which is £2,200, it's good value for what you get. Inside it reeks of quality but some of the Mini quirkiness has gone sadly. I blame BMW for putting a premium price tag on the more sporty models and destroying the Mini flavour with their logical German brains.

Lastly we have the VW Polo which is the most sensible option on test. It lacks the fun factor of the Citreon but makes it up in reliability and solidarity. Good for a owner who is very normal and sensible. Prices start at around £12,025 depending if you want some power. I find it looks a bit dire if I was to be honest.
Inside it is mundane but it has quite a lot of kit for the price.

Stats table (for cheapest/base model)
Citreon Polo Mini Sandero
Bhp = 67 73 100 71
0-60 (secs)= 13.6 13.5 10.2 13.7
Mpg = 60 80 59 54
Price = £10,995 £11,867 £14,225 £5,995
And the winner is....
The Citreon C3 !! Fun, cute and a good price I think the C3 is my
winner for today. Go for the flair trim (below) you will have a £15,000 tech filled , airbumpy supermini. Bravo Citreon !
